Blood Component Courier
Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Component Production, the Blood Component Courier (BCC) is responsible for performing product retrieval and re-supply functions during the assigned shift. Under direct supervision, the BCC will ensure the timely pick up of unprocessed blood collections while adhering to all regulations and procedures governing the storage and transportation of blood products. Consistent with the goals and objectives of the department and Carter BloodCare, BCCs must maintain an excellent driving record, present a professional appearance, demonstrate good attention to detail, be able to lift 40 pounds unassisted, and possess ‘above average’ customer service and communication skills. Regular full-time attendance is required during office hours.
- High School or Equivalent.
